On Tuesday January 17, Eldon Biologicals had a one-day meeting with Sanquin in the Netherlands. Sanquin provides blood services in the Netherlands on a not-for-profit basis. The specific purpose of the meeting was to discuss future cooperation, in particularly cooperation focusing on an upcoming project in Africa, where Sanquin will work in Ethiopia, Malawi and Tanzania to field test and scale-up the prevention of Rhesus disease.
The project is designed to be the largest Rhesus prevention project to be implemented in Africa to date. We are very excited to be a part of this groundbreaking project.
